Engineering
Product Designer
We currently have an opening in our Design Studio for a
Product Designer.
Responsibilities:
Ability to work in SolidWorks.
Have the mechanical ability to take verbal instructions and create workable design concepts.
Participate in design burst activities such as ergonomic studies, DFM process, component development, system integration.
Represent a professional manor with customers and suppliers at all levels of the organization.
Create and maintain 2D and 3D design files.
Develop basic to intermediate level design proposals based on direction from customers, design engineers and analytical data.
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or 5 years of systems design experience.
At least two years experience in assembly or manufacturing. Demonstrated success as someone who offers solutions and solves problems.
Above average PC skills which would include Parametric Modeling and Microsoft applications.
Solid communication skills, written and verbal.
Required to work extra hours and travel to meet customer needs.
Teach, lead and continuously improve all areas of the business.
Experience in the following areas would be advantages:
Injection molded plastic components
Insert and over molded plastic parts
Material selection
Injection mold tooling methods

Tool Room
MoldMaker
An established and expanding Mold shop is looking for a committed professional able to build tight tolerance, highly detailed Molds. Preferred applicants have extensive knowledge of Hurco, Fadal, and Haas machines, as well as a background in all aspects of the Plastic Injection Mold build process.
Additional Duties may include Detail, assisting others and support of overall shop operations. Cimatron or Mastercam Cad software knowledge preferred. Must be dependable, flexible and work well with others. Applicant must be organized and possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

CNC Machinist, 2nd shift
An established and expanding Mold shop is looking for a committed professional able to run CNC Machines for Mold Base, Detail and other 2D and 3D work. Must have extensive knowledge of Hurco, Fadal, and Haas machines, as well as a background in all aspects of the Plastic Injection Mold build process.
Additional Duties may include the use of other shop equipment, including Mills and Surface grinders. Cimatron or Mastercam Cad software knowledge preferred. Must be Dependable, Flexible and work well with others. Applicant must be organized and possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

CAM Programmer, 2nd shift
An established and expanding Mold shop is looking for a committed professional able to program and run CNC Machines for High tolerance details, core and cavity blocks. Must have the skill to optimize the cutting of Aluminum , P-20 and hard milling. Must have extensive knowledge of high speed machining and set-up on Makino’s and other VMC’s, as well as a background in all aspects of the Plastic Injection Mold build process.
Additional Duties MAY include the use of other shop equipment, including Mills and Surface grinders. Cimatron software knowledge preferred, but willing to train the right applicant. Must be Dependable, Flexible and work well with others. Applicant must be organized and possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
