Yazaki Names PTI Engineered Plastics
as a 2017 Environmental, Health & Safety Supplier Award Winner

 

Top automotive supplier Yazaki recognized PTI Engineered Plastics with an Environmental, Health & Safety Supplier Award at its annual awards ceremony on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. PTI Engineered Plastics was chosen from Yazaki’s top 97 suppliers in North and Central America.

 

“Yazaki places a very high value on our strategic partners and suppliers and their shared commitment to the environment,” said Ken Pichla, Head of Purchasing at Yazaki North America, Inc. “Together we can affect significant change for a greener tomorrow.”


PTI was chosen for their environmental, health and safety commitments that they exhibit in their day-to-day operations in their plastic injection molding facility located in Michigan.

Held to honor World Environmental Day, the Yazaki Environmental, Health & Safety Supplier Award program recognizes suppliers who have made significant contributions to the preservation of the environment through their manufacturing, production, and delivery processes and have exceeded others in their effort to reduce their impact on the environment. Yazaki established this program in 2007 as the benchmark for all Yazaki companies and affiliates throughout North and Central America.
